Smithfield Street Bridge No. 2
The Smithfield Street Bridge is the oldest Pittsburgh Bridge. This blue lenticular truss bridge stands apart from the golden bridges surrounding the downtown area of Pittsburgh. It is my personal favorite, with its two pedestrian sidewalks and direct connection to the bike paths on both sides of the Monongahela, a joy to traverse by any mode, and a great spot for viewing fireworks!
